Columbus Day: What's Open, What's Closed
Transportation is running and your bank may be open but don't expect mail delivery!
What's Open
- Public schools and banks have the option to open. However, schools in the Millburn-Short Hills School District is closed for staff development.
- All financial and stock markets will be open.
- NJ Transit and light rails will operate on a normal weekday schedule. Some bus schedules may be affected. For more information and schedules, click here.
- PATH trains will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
What's Closed
- State, local government and courts will be closed.
- Post offices are closed. There will be no regular mail delivery.
