County DPW to Expand Facility

Plans call for additional offices, storage and workshops in Cedar Grove facility.

The Essex County Department of Public Works plans to upgrade and expand its facility housing the fleet maintenance garage and mosquito control offices, a published report Thursday said.

The DPW plans a 40,000-square-foot expansion to include offices, storage and workshops to the facility located at 99 W. Bradford Ave. in Cedar Grove, according to a report by NorthJersey.com.

The plans also call for 30,000 additional square feet of vehicle storage behind the proposed facility.

"The town’s going to love it, it’s going to fit the neighborhood, it’s going to be a nice facility," Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. told the website.
