Old Short Hills Road and Hobart Avenue was backed up Thursday for tree removal.
According to the township, several weeks ago a large branch fell and the township decided to remove it.
The tree has become hazardous so they are taking it down," said John Bace, the superintendent of public works.Â
The work was causing roughly  15-minute delays for drivers near Hilltop Road.
