Explore Millburn Announces This Weekend's Events And Promotions

There are concerts, promotions, and charity fundraisers this weekend in Millburn's business district, including something for furry friends.

MILLBURN, NJ — The new nonprofit group Explore Millburn-Short Hills has announced the following events, local business promotions, and fundraisers this weekend:

Live Music Presented by Explore Millburn-Short Hills

On Saturday there will be two simultaneous shows at 6 and 8 p.m. Last Exit will be performing at Boxcar Bar at Short Hills Station and Los Traficantes del Amor will be playing at the Main Street Closure. New Eyes for the Needy

There will be an annual Summer Sunglasses Sale this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Eyes for the Needy, 549 Millburn Ave. Gently-used designer sunglasses starting at only $20 and jewelry starting at $2. Proceeds help give clear vision to those living in the US facing financial hardship.

Bring Your Furry Friend to Millburn Standard

As a part of their one-year(ish) anniversary celebration, Millburn Standard will be hosting “Barks and Bubbles” on Sunday. The event will feature a doggie photo booth and sparkling wine specials. Visit them on social media @millburn_standard for more information.

Training COVID Relief Fund

F45 Training is working with Give India to raise funds for COVID relief in that country. Check them on Instagram @f45_training_millburn for more information and to donate, or visit them in person at 296 Millburn Ave.

CEDA Sunday - Paper Mill Playhouse in the Park

On Sunday, June 27 from 1 to 5 p.m., Millburn Township CEDA (Cultural, Engagement, Diversity & Arts) will launch with “Paper Mill Playhouse in the Park.” Events will include performances by Paper Mill alumni, “Name That Show Tune,” an interactive musical theater game and improve class for children. Watch for more.

Bella Organici Pride FlagsPride flags are available for sale and Bella Organici will be donating the proceeds to Explore Millburn-Short Hills and the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce. The flags are $5 each or 3 for $10. Contact bellaorganici2go@gmail.com for more information.
