Explore Millburn Kicks Off Contests, Promotions For Spring
There will be ongoing contests at 27 merchants starting Friday, then a host of events during the second weekend of May.
MILLBURN, NJ — The new nonprofit Explore Millburn-Short Hills, created to promote and support businesses in the town's Special Improvement District, has announced some initial community events.
The organization announced that on Friday, they'll launch the “Spring into Millburn/Short Hills—It’s a GEM!” contest. Shoppers and patrons can guess the number of "gems" in the jar at each participating merchant for a chance to win a $25 gift card from that merchant and be automatically entered into a grand prize drawing of $50, $75 and $100 Millburn Deli gift cards.
No purchase is necessary. The event closes April 11.

People can enter at 27 participating merchants: ArteVino Studio, Bunchers True Value Hardware, Casa das Natas, Elements for Style, Footnotes, Gian Marco Trattoria, Green Nectar Market, Highline Fashion, Indian Xpress, Jia Boutique, Linda’s Florist, Liv Breads, Millburn Deli, Millburn Pet And Wild Bird Shop, Millburn Standard, MoonShine-Modern Supper Club, One River School, Oscar’s Deli & Restaurant, Paper Ribbon & Wrap, Pure Barre, Roxy Shoes, Schultz and M. Blaustein, Shala's, Short Hills Club Pilates, SwimQuest,The Book House and UBreakIFix.

The group also announced a community event on Saturday, May 8. The day begins in Taylor Park and includes a variety of morning fitness events and a program sponsored by ArteVino Studio.
Young artists can make the perfect gift for Mother's Day, but that's not all.
Family-friendly entertainers will roam through downtown in the afternoon for the enjoyment of shoppers and diners.
Retail merchants, restaurants and other eateries will share Spring and Mother's Day specials.
Live music is planned for the late afternoon/early evening.

Explore Millburn-Short Hills is the nonprofit organization supporting and promoting businesses throughout the five areas of the Special Improvement District. The purpose of a Special Improvement District (SID) is to promote, grow and support local businesses, property owners, residents and visitors.
Millburn Township's SID ordinance designated a District Management Corporation (DMC), known as Explore Millburn-Short Hills. The mission is to encourage the economic, cultural and social vitality of Millburn Township through increased marketing and visibility, improved and renewed infrastructure and local business development and engagement.
