First Aid Squad is Looking for Volunteers

The classes for the Millburn-Short Hills First Aid Squad will be held at the squad building from June 23 until August 25.

The Millburn-Short Hills First Aid Squad is looking for volunteers to train and join the squad to help the community.

The classes are open to adults, college students (if they are taking a year off) and retirees. The program is also open to high school students 16 and older for the cadet program.  

Classes will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting June 23. The rest of dates are as follows: June 30; July 7, 14, 21, 23, 28, 30; August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 22, 25.

The classes are the hands-on part of the course such as splinting, bandaging, assessing. You will also be required to do on-line work such as listening to lectures and taking tests on-line while you are home.
