“The Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills is so important to the community because we are committed to fulfilling the mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women (members as well as women who receive services from the organization), and ultimately improving the community as a whole,” said Sandler in a release. “We are able to do this through direct service and an informative curriculum, including training opportunities for JLOSH members and community partners, along with fundraising to support ongoing impactful programs.”
The group hopes to narrow its focus in the community in the coming year in order to better concentrate in areas that require the most attention. For more information, visit the JLOSH website.
