UPDATED Maplewood Residents Arrested For Short Hills Mall Threat
The Millburn Police said two adults in Maplewood were arrested in connection with a bomb threat at the Short Hills Mall on Thursday.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Millburn Police Department said in a press release on Monday that they had arrested two Maplewood residents in connection with a bomb threat that was phoned in to the Mall at Short Hills in Millburn on Thursday.
Police said that at 11:38 a.m. on Thursday, they headed to the Neiman Marcus store in response to a "telephonic bomb threat." The New Jersey State Police and Essex County Sheriff's
Department's Bomb Unit also responded.
Neiman Marcus was evacuated and searched with K9 dogs. It was determined that store was safe and the threat was not credible, police said.

After an investigation, police arrested Stephanie Abreu, 31, and William Baldwin, 30.

Police did not give a motive for the incident.
Abreu and Baldwin were charged with bomb threats, conspiracy, and false public alarm, and were remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility, police said.
