MHS Grad's Play Opens Off-Broadway
'Fat Camp' begins its run at the American Theatre of Actors Today.

Millburn High School graduate and playwright Tim Drucker’s musical Fat Camp has made it to off-Broadway, where it will begin a run today (April 11) at the American Theatre of Actors in New York.
The producers of Jersey Boys and Rock of Ages have teamed up to bring audiences a Drucker’s comedy/musical of the story of a rock ‘n’ roll rebel and the place where he proves he’s more than meets the eye: Camp Overton. Described as a clever and quirky comedy, Fat Camp was a hit at the New York Musical Theatre Festival where it won “Best of Fest” in 2009.
The play features a book by Drucker and Randy Blair, who also co-wrote Perez Hilton Saves the Universe. Tickets can be purchased at www.FatCampMusical.com and are on-sale through May 13, 2012. The theater is located at 314 54th Street in New York City.
