Millburn Extends Main Street Part-Closure Initiative Into Sept.
Residents can continue to enjoy outdoor dining and shopping in the street, and there will be live music on several Tuesday nights.

MILLBURN, NJ — The town of Millburn has extended its partial closure of Main Street to vehicles through Monday Sept. 28, and will have live music on several Tuesday nights in September. Main Street will remain closed between Millburn Avenue and Essex Street until Sept. 28 at 7 a.m.
"This decision to maintain the closure for an additional month comes as a result of positive feedback from visitors and residents who are enjoying and engaging with our local business community," the town announced. "By maintaining this activated space, we aim to continue drawing people to Millburn to enjoy all that our businesses have to offer."
Restaurants and fitness studios will utilize the area to offer goods and services. Lot 1 will also continue to operate as an outdoor dining space except on Tuesdays during the Farmer’s Market.
