Millburn HS Head Football Coach Resigns: Report

The Millburn Millers will soon have a new head football coach if Patrick Leonardis steps down.

Millburn, NJ – The Millburn Millers will soon have a new head football coach.

Current head coach Patrick Leonardis announced last week that he will be resigning from his post for personal reasons, according to a report.

Although Leonardis will continue to coach the Junior Varsity men’s basketball coach and teach physical education at Millburn High School, he will not be continuing with the football coaching post that he assumed in 2012.

“Leonardis promised his players and coaches that he would not coach elsewhere this season,” TAP Into Millburn/Short Hills reported. “However, he did leave the door open for the possibility of accepting a coaching position at another high school in the years to come.”
