Millburn Low In Coronavirus Deaths, Essex County High

Essex County leads the state in deaths due to coronavirus, but Millburn's fatalities are in the single digits.

MILLBURN, NJ — Among New Jersey's 21 counties, Essex County leads the state in coronavirus deaths, with 1,901 confirmed as of Tuesday. The also densely populated Bergen and Hudson counties come next. Among the county's towns, however, Millburn ranks low in terms of coronavirus deaths.

Factors that come into play can include the density and age of the population, as well as the number of long-term care facilities.

In a list of towns and fatalities, Millburn is listed with 6 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic and 184 total cases, out of a town population of 20,080.
