Millburn Micro-Paving Resumes
Contractor to shut down Glen Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 20
MILLBURN, NJ - Glen Avenue will be shut down for portions of Thursday, Sept. 20 according to officials. Micro-paving postponed due to inclement weather will see Glen Avenue shut down between Wyoming Avenue and Cypress Street. Micro-paving consists of the application of a mixture of water, asphalt emulsion, aggregate and chemical additives to an existing asphalt concrete pavement surface.
The project was supposed to be completed during the summer, but officials said that adverse weather conditions have forced repeated delays.
