Millburn Municipal Alliance To Host Forum On Marijuana

MILLBURN, NJ — With marijuana now legal in New Jersey, within certain guidelines, what do parents need to know?

At the forum, you can learn more about legalized marijuana and how it may impact your family during a discussion with Dr. Sonali Mahajan, pediatric psychiatrist.

On Monday, Gov. Phil Murphy said he agrees with changing the recently passed law so that police can notify parents if their underage child is found with marijuana or alcohol. READ MORE: Murphy Backs Change To Marijuana Law Allowing Parent Notification

In Millburn last year, the Township Committee withdrew a resolution providing guidelines to open a medical marijuana dispensary in town, after residents spoke against it.
