Millburn Schools Closed Tuesday: How Will Snow Affect Parking, Trash?

MILLBURN, NJ — It’s official, Millburn. The Millburn Public School District announced Monday afternoon that schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 14, due to an impending blizzard.

Millburn school administrators stated that they plan to contact parents and guardians on Tuesday regarding the Wednesday school schedule, after conferring with the Millburn Office of Emergency Management.

The Millburn district’s transportation department is creating a list of snow-routes/bus stops that will be in effect for the foreseeable future, until snow has melted or until parents/students are alerted that they are no longer in effect, administrators stated Monday.

The list will be posted on the transportation page of the district website and a link will be sent in a later communication, administrators said.

According to a Millburn township news release, overnight on-street parking will be suspended on March 13 and 14.

Trash and recycling collections are suspended for Tuesday, officials stated.
