Millburn Schools Receive $200K in Grants, Gifts
The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills provided 23 grants and large technical gifts to district schools this year.
The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills announced last week its donation of more than $200,000 in gifts and grants this year to the seven district schools.
The 23 grants and large technical gifts will bolster Millburn programs that were otherwise unable to gain more funds due to budget caps.Â
The grants help fund the following:
Millburn High School:
- Genocide Awareness Symposium
- Clicker Technology In Chemistry And Physics
- Auditorium: Sound System And Screen
- Digital Story Telling For Senior English Seminar
- Film Making Is A Collaborative Art: Mass Media And Communication
- Equipment For Studio 462
- 11 Smart Boards
- Laptops For Mms Special Ed Replacement And Support Classes
- First In Math Enrichment Program
- Smart Response System (Clickers Used With Smart Boards)
- Bee Bots Primary Hands On Programming
- Apps And ibooks For Resource Room
- Interactive Response Systems
- Therapy Balls For Student Seating
The Education Foundation has raised more than $1 million over the past 10 years for Millburn schools.Â
