Millburn-Short Hills Fireworks, July Fourth Celebration Return For 2017

The Millburn-Short Hills Fourth of July Committee will host its 72nd annual holiday fireworks show and celebration on July 4.

MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn-Short Hills Fourth of July Committee will present their 72nd annual Fourth of July celebration for 2017 on Tuesday, July 4, including a fireworks display.

According to the committee’s website, the festivities will take place at Taylor Park (Main Street, Millburn), and at Millburn High School (462 Millburn Avenue, Millburn). Learn more about the celebration here.

The rain date is July 5, only for the fireworks. There is no rain date for rides, games, and other events.

The day’s events include:

  • Morning Activities - Flag Raising, Patriot Award, Stroller Parade, Softball Game – 9 a.m. (Taylor Park)
  • Pre-Firework Events - Rides, bands, refreshments and food provided by La Strada, Red Mango, Salad House, Kona Ice, and Tinga – 3 p.m. (Millburn High School)
  • Fireworks Display – Doors open for the fireworks at 8 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9 p.m. (Millburn High School)
