Debbi Abrams earns Service Leadership award for dedication to community

At the May Millburn Municipal Alliance Committee meeting at the Millburn Library, Debbi Abrams of Short Hills was presented with the MMAC Annual Service Leadership award for her dedicate service to the community.
As a parent and an active volunteer, Abrams is committed to MMAC's mission to educate and to  raise awareness of the risks of underage drinking and illegal drug use, said MMAC Director Gail Barry.
Abrams is the co-chair of MMAC’s annual Red Ribbon week programming in October, helps coordinate MMAC's Strawberry Festival participation each year and also helps to coordinate to Family Meal week in April. She joins service award winners Irene Langley 2009, Jody Caplan 2010 and John Rogers 2011 as recipients. Building and sustaining a healthy community and keeping kids safe is MMAC's highest priority, Barry said.
