MILLBURN, NJ - Those in the Millburn and Short Hills area looking for a new commuting option may get their way in the form of a new commuter bus route.

A private commuting services company, Boxcar, is seeking input from Millburn-Short Hills commuters regarding the proposed commuter bus route that would run directly from Millburn into New York City.

Commuters residing in town and interested in alternate travel options can fill out the survey from Boxcar. More information on the company and proposed route can be found on their site.

Officials noted that Boxcar is a private company and their service would not be operated by or subsidized by the Township of Millburn. New Jersey Transit operations will not be impacted or replaced by the proposed service.
