‘New Jersey’s Largest Haunted House’ Returns For Halloween 2017

This New Jersey haunted house has 40,000-square-feet of horror waiting. Take a peek at what's in store for you.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — It takes a lot of hard work and preparation to scare the living daylights out of 50,000 people. But don’t worry, New Jersey thrill-seekers… the Bane Haunted House in Livingston has years of practice.

Its owners say that the 40,000-square-foot attraction is the “largest haunted house in New Jersey.” But its size isn’t the only impressive feature Bane has going for it. With more than 70 live actors in creepy costumes and dozens of rooms to explore, the attraction has earned its titles as the “Most Terrifying” and “Scariest Haunted House in NJ” for several years running.

For Halloween 2017, the festivities at the handicap-accessible building will also include a live DJ, an on-site FX makeup team and food trucks, organizers said.
