NJ Transit Police Identify Man Killed on Tracks

Man identified as 47-year-old from Jersey City.

The NJ Transit Police have identified the man who at the Millburn Station last month as a 47-year-old from Jersey City.

Mark Judge died on Nov. 15 when, according to witnesses, he jumped in front of an express train to New York City that was not stopping at the station and had no passengers on it.

“Following receipt of numerous leads and tips from the general public, NJ TRANSIT police today have positively identified the trespasser struck and fatally injured by a Morris & Essex Line train on November 15 at the Millburn station,” said John Durso, NJ Transit Spokesman announced Friday. “ “NJ TRANSIT police and personnel express their deepest appreciation to our law enforcement partners and to the public at large for their assistance.”
