Woman Accused of Shoplifting $1,700 in Clothing
Susan Matthews, of Ridgewood, was charged with shoplifting from the Mall at Short Hills, police said.
A 41-year-old Ridgewood woman was arrested Sunday afternoon after trying to make off with $1,700 in clothing from the Mall at Short Hills, Millburn police said.Â
According to Capt. Bernie Neuhaus, Susan Mathews tried to put six pieces of clothing in her handbag and leave Neiman Marcus just after 1 p.m. Sunday.Â
Mathews was charged with shoplifting and released with a court date on Oct. 5 in Essex County Court.
