Power to the People
JCP&L says all residents have their power back on and workers are installing equipment to increase capacity at the Main Street substation.
Employees for JCP&L have been in Millburn all week, working on the central substation, where, according to township officials, multiple pieces of equipment failed.
Ron Morano, spokesman for JCP&L, said the company's workers were installing switchgear equipment to provide increased operational capability at the Millburn substation on Main Street.
Morano said all customers in Millburn who experienced power outages on Monday and Tuesday have been had their service restored.

According to the township's website, workers put a new repair bank into the substation, which is meant to incoming voltage and" sends it to distribution centers and is the source of power."
JCP&L officials asked area residents to conserve electricity as repairs continued.
