Residential Blasting Spurs Public Forum
Millburn Township has scheduled a public forum for Wednesday as a result of residents' continued protest of the use of explosives in proposed construction plans in Short Hills.

The controversial use of explosives in a residential area of Short Hills has generated a public forum in Town Hall next week, according to the Millburn Township officials.
The forum, scheduled for Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, is a result of the last Township Council meeting, where Short Hills residents continued to protest the proposed construction plan.Â
On Wednesday, the Mayor Sandra Haimoff said she and the Township Committee agree with residents' concerns and were actively trying to see if they can stop the construction plans proposed.
