Rock with Millburn Schools and Maybe 'The Boss'

The Education Foundation's big fundraiser rocks this Friday.

Millburn schools faculty, administration, parents and friends will be rockin’ at the annual Millburn Schools Rock event, “A Tribute to Motown.” This year the party will be led by the funk-and-soul Eturnity Band that takes the dance band experience to a new level.

Returning this year is a live auction, featuring a 10-carat diamond tennis bracelet, two box seats for Bruce Springsteen’s concert at Madison Square Garden on April 6, 2012, and VIP tickets for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

For those in need of a vacation, the live auction also includes a timeshare in Cabo San Lucas and a weekend in New York City with your choice of Broadway show, a two-night stay in a hotel, comedy show and dinner for two at Sardi’s or 21 Club.

Also featured is an ultimate sportsman’s experience package for two that  includes four days and three nights of deluxe hotel accommodation and two tickets to your choice of one of the following 2012 sporting events: one World Series Game, one NBA finals game, one Stanley Cup finals game, one NCAA men’s final four basketball game or the Kentucky Oats and Derby. This package contains complimentary concierge reservation service and round trip economy class air within the contiguous United States or Canada.

In addition to the live auction, the silent auction features tickets to sporting events – including the World Champion Giants, Yankees, Devils, Knicks, Mets, Phillies and WWE and concert events. Also available in the silent auction is an iPad 3, Kindle Fire, jewelry, designer bags and much more waiting for the winning bidder. And of course, there will be a fun basket raffle and new this year, a wine pull, where for $25 you get a bottle of fabulous wine. If you have not received an invitation, you can find one on the Ed Foundation website – www.millburnschoolsrock.org.
