Construction Projects, Curriculum On School Board Agenda

Here's what is going on in Millburn-Short Hills this week.

Millburn's Board of Education is set to meet at 7:45 p.m. Monday in the Education Center. 

The board has a lengthy agenda to go through in preparation for the 2013-14 school year. On the agenda, the board will review construction projects as well as update the curriculums and approve numerous contracts.

On Thursday, the Congregation B'Nai Israel will host its Annual BBQ and Open House Under the Stars at 5:30 p.m. RSVP by July 24th at http://bit.ly/cbibbq2013.

Also that night, the Historic Preservation Meeting is scheduled at 7:30 p.m in Town Hall on the second floor. Agenda is attached to review. 

On Friday, the 21st annual Farmers Market will continue on Friday at 8 a.m. in Municipal Lot No. 1, on the corner or Main and Essex Streets. It will be held there every Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
