Serial Burglar Caught With Stolen Essex County Sheriff's Badge, Police Say
Elizabeth man is believed to be responsible for apartment burglaries in Essex County including a burglary to a Millburn-Short Hills residence, police said.

An Elizabeth man who is believed to be responsible for apartment burglaries in several Essex County towns—and for allegedly stealing a sheriff's badge—was arrested last week, according to NorthJersey.com.
East Rutherford Police charged Raymond Rouland, 45, on June 7 with three counts of burglary, three counts of theft of moveable property and one count of credit card fraud, the article said. More charges are likely, the article said.
Rouland is believed to be responsible for other burglaries in Montclair, Maplewood, South Orange, Millburn and Kearny, the article said. Authorities seized items from Rouland's residence that were allegedly stolen in the burglaries, including an Essex County Sheriff's badge, the  article said.
