In Short Hills: Greenwood Gardens To Host ‘History and Harvest Celebration’ 2016

Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills will host a History and Harvest Celebration featuring family-friendly activities on Oct. 15.

SHORT HILLS, NJ — Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills will host a History and Harvest Celebration featuring family-friendly activities on Saturday, Oct. 15.

According to organizers, the event will allow participants to “learn, taste, enjoy and experience fall.” The “family-friendly” event will feature music and entertainment, educational demonstrations, food, pony rides, crafts, candy-apple making, face painting, cookie decorating and “the Great Apple Hunt.”

  • Conserve Wildlife Foundation bat biologist Stephanie Feigin will give a presentation at 1:30 p.m.
  • Tours through the garden to see the art exhibit, “Betty Woodman: In The Garden,” will be offered at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per family and $5 per single until Oct. 10. After that date tickets are $30 per family and $10 per single.

The event’s rain date is Oct. 16 from noon to 4 p.m.
