Short Hills Native And Fyre Fest Founder Has Coronavirus In Jail
Former Short Hills resident Billy McFarland, 28, told the New York Post on Thursday that he has coronavirus in prison in Ohio.

MILLBURN, NJ — Former Short Hills resident Billy McFarland, sentenced to six years in prison in 2018 for fraud in connection with the ill-fated Fyre Festival, told the New York Post on Thursday that he has coronavirus in prison. According to a story, an associate of McFarland also talked to the Post, saying conditions are not good in the Ohio prison, but McFarland, 28, is doing fine for now. "They wait until they’re unresponsive to take people to the hospital," the associate complained.
