The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook.

More slippery conditions could impact New Jersey commuters on Friday morning as black ice and freezing drizzle is expected.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook in North Jersey, saying localized black ice has developed across portions of the area this morning on untreated surfaces where temperatures fell below freezing.

Some freezing drizzle may also develop this morning, which could result in locally slippery travel conditions.

Here is the full weekend weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

Friday: A chance of freezing rain before 7am, then a chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday Night: Rain. Low around 41. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
