South Mountain PTO Helps Students Go Green
The school's Parent Teacher Organization has given the school a new water fountain that keeps track of how many bottle were saved because of refilling.

South Mountain School's Parent Teacher Organization has given the students a gift of a new water fountain that provides chilled, filtered water.Â
The new fountain has a filling station to encourage the students to refill their own reusable bottles and has a "green ticker" which keeps track of how many 16 oz bottles were saved because of refilling.Â
The P.T.O. is hoping this will encourage the students and their families to help the planet by adopting more sustainable behaviors.
