Springfield Stop & Shop Hearing to Continue Monday
Here's what is going on in town this week.
On Monday, the Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Town Hall on the second floor. Agenda is attached for review.Â
Hearings on the Springfield Stop & Shop will continue at the meeting.
Here's what happened in the last meeting.Â
The Stop & Shop is proposed for the old Saks Fifth Avenue location, 92 Millburn Ave. in Short Hills. Even though that property is located in Springfield, Millburn has jurisdiction on the 20-foot piece of land entering the property, the township engineer, Thomas Watkinson, said.

On Friday, the 21st annual Farmers Market will continue on Friday at 8 a.m. in Municipal Lot No. 1, on the corner or Main and Essex Streets. It will be held there every Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
