Summer Improvements On Millburn School District
Check out the photos of what projects were done in the district over the summer.
This summer a handful of projects were completed at the schools throughout the Millburn School District.Â
"Preserving the community's investment in the infrastructure," board member Regina Truitt said in a presentation Monday.Â
The slideshow above details the projects completed. The district will also add air conditioning to common space areas at Deerfield, South Mountain and Wyoming elementary schools.
At Deerfield:
- Univent replacement
- Asphalt and concrete repair: widen to accommodate more students and handicap accessible.Â
- New trailer deck
- floor sanding and refinishing
- Roof replacement
- Computer Lab floor replacement
- Kindgarden carpeting replacement
- Asphalt and concrete repair: widen to accommodate more students and handicap accessible.Â
- Playground asphalt redone to prevent flooding. Basketball hoop also moved so the ball doesn't roll into street.Â
- Roof repair
- Roof repair
- Entranceway changed
- Digital video surveillance added
- Sewer ejection pump
- Field house renovations
- Upper gym ceiling, wall painted and floor refinished
