Township Council Meets Tuesday This Week Ahead

On Monday, the Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Town Hall on the second floor.

In the meeting, a new business, So I Heard Music, LLC, seeks approval to operate a music school in Millburn. Full agenda attached. 

On Tuesday, the Millburn Township Committee will meet at 8 p.m. on the second floor of Millburn Town Hall. Agenda to come.

In its last meeting, the committee:

• Introduced a $50.5 million 2013-14 municipal budget that would raise taxes on the average assessed township home by more than $100.
• Announced plans to appeal a recent ruling requiring the township to provide sewer service to a Livingston apartment complex.
• Approved a new ordinance at Tuesday night's meeting that will limit daytime parking on three Short Hills streets to cut down on commuters parking in residential neighborhoods.

On Wednesday, The Planning Board meeting is set to meet at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall. Agenda to come.
