Update 7/7: Â Canoe Brook Road is closed near the intersection of White Oak Ridge Road and Sheridan Drive for emergency water main repairs until further notice. As a result of these repairs, residents on Canoe Brook Road may experience no water, low pressure, or discolored water. Repairs are expected to take a few more hours before water service is back to normal. When service is restored, residents may experience cloudy and or discolored water.Â

If your water is discolored, Â residents are advised to run cold water only at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes so that it clears before using. Repeat this flushing step once or twice within an hour as necessary until the water clears.
7/6 - Possible water main break in the area of White Oak Ridge Road and Canoe Brook Road. Residents are asked to avoid the area. If residents find water discoloration, they need to avoid using the water until repairs are made or more information is received by NJ American Water. Â NJ American Water is in route and the Township will provide updates as they become available.
