MILLBURN, NJ — A vehicle smashed into a brick building on the corner of Millburn Avenue and Glenwood Drive on Sunday morning, firefighters said.

The building is the former site of Ganny Russ opticians, which celebrated its 45th anniversary on the site in 2013. A recent photo shows the building up for lease. The word OPTICIANS is fading across the top.

The commercial building at 521 Millburn Ave. in Short Hills was built in 1941, according to online sources.
