The Millburn Free Public Library is pleased to present a virtual discussion of the history of the Super Bowl on Monday February 1 at 7:00pm. This fascinating talk will be hosted by Evan Weiner, well-known veteran sports broadcaster and lecturer.

Everyone knows the Super Bowl is much more than a football game. It's the only sports event that impacts every community in the United States. But, did you know that the Super Bowl rose out of the civil rights movement, specifically the African American boycott of the AFL All Star Game in New Orleans? We will go on a journey from the birth of the Super Bowl to the elaborate halftime shows of today.

Register for this event here and amaze your friends and family (from an appropriate social distance, of course!) with all your newfound knowledge of the Super Bowl on Sunday night!
