WSJ Discovers Short Hills is 'More than Just the Mall'

Newspaper takes a look at Short Hills.

Short Hills is featured in today's Wall Street Journal, which quotes realtors from Keller Williams and Coldwell Banker, and uses Zillow to describe the housing costs in each area.

According to the article, "The median listing price in Short Hills in January, according to Zillow.com, was $1.75 million, an 18% jump from January 2011. In Millburn, January's median listing price was $479,900, a 13% decline from the previous January. According to Garden State Multiple Listing Service data provided by Eilene Shauger of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the average sales price in all of Millburn Township for 2011 was $1.134 million, compared with $1.4 million for Short Hills alone."

The article mentions the schools, Gero Park, the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum, the South Mountain Reservation, Enzzo's Trattoria and, of course, The Mall at Short Hills. It says you can "cross the border" into Millburn for other restaurants and entertainment and mentions Martini Bistro & Bar and Basilico as well as the Paper Mill Playhouse and the Clearview Cinema.
