Police officers responded to a residence on Hawthorne Place on a reported burglary on Friday December 5. The victim stated that between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., someone entered into the residence and removed numerous items from a bedroom including:
- Money
- Diamond bracelet
- Necklace with a gold heart charm

Police officers responded to a residence on Willowdale Ave on a reported burglary, on Monday December 8. The victim stated that between 4:00 p.m. and 9:35 p.m., someone entered into the home and removed multiple items. Some of missing items are as follows:
- 40” Sony Flat screen television
- 23” flat screen television
- Bose radio
- Gucci baby bag
- Numerous items of jewelry

Miscellaneous
- Police officers responded to Just Jake’s on a reported act of vandalism, On Saturday December 6. The complainant stated that while leaving, a patron intentionally struck and shattered the restaurant’s glass front door.
- Police officers responded to Chestnut Street on a reported act of vandalism on Saturday December 6. The complainant stated that between 7:25 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. hours someone threw a small object from the train trestle which stuck and cracked the complainant’s vehicle windshield.
Arrests
- Charade Jenkins was arrested for shoplifting from the CVS Pharmacy on Claremont Ave. On Thursday December 4, officers responded to the CVS and upon further investigation were led to Jenkins. She was in police custody pending $5,000 bail and a court appearance. Jenkins was previously placed under arrest for shoplifting from the Pathmark in Montclair on Nov. 8.
- Jason Almodovar has been placed under arrest on an outstanding Montclair warrant, on Friday December 5. Montclair police officers responded to the Fairlawn Police Department at which time Almodovar was arrested and transported to the Montclair Police Department pending bail/court appearance.
- Darin Davis has been arrested for criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. In the early morning on Sunday December 7, police officers on foot patrol in the area of Mission Street observed a disturbance and then discovered a car with a broken window. Further investigation led police to Davis being identified as a suspect. He was placed in police custody pending $5,000 bail/court appearance.
- Danielle Everett has been arrested for driving with a suspended driver’s license. Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Elm St at 5:12 p.m. on Monday December 8 and discovered that Everett’s license was suspended. She was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction and
