2 Gas-And-Go Thefts Reported In Montclair: Police

A pair of gas stations in Montclair were ripped off by customers, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pair of gas stations in Montclair were recently ripped off by customers, police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:

  • Jan. 19 - (Harrison Avenue) An employee at Delta Gas Station reports that a male drove off without paying for $56 worth of gasoline that the driver had purchased.
  • Jan. 21 – (Bloomfield Avenue) An employee at Exxon Gas Station reports that a male drove off without paying for $35 worth of gasoline that the driver had purchased.
