American Sampler In Montclair Closing After 4 Decades
Montclair Center: "Pam had a great run and is looking forward to retirement."
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A store in Montclair is planning to close its doors after more than 40 years in business – but it’s “a happy occasion,” a group says.
On Tuesday, Montclair Center posted the following message on social media:
“You may have heard the news that American Sampler is closing its doors after 40+ years. Owner Pam Lamoglia, who also owns Dobbs Ltd. does not want us to be sad. This is a happy occasion. No one could have predicted the success of American Sampler. Pam had a great run and is looking forward to retirement. She wants her patrons to know how grateful she is and how much they you will be missed. The closing date for American Sampler is open ended at this time. Everything Must Go! The entire store is on sale. They are accepting any reasonable offers on furniture, décor and more. Please continue to patronize Pam and her family in American Sampler’s final weeks. Please note: Dobbs Limited Ladies Boutique will remain open. Shop American Sampler at 26 Church Street.”
