Angry NJ Transit Rider Spits On Bus Driver: Montclair Police
A passenger allegedly "berated" a NJ Transit bus driver in Essex County, then spat on him, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — An angry passenger allegedly berated and spat on a NJ Transit bus driver in Essex County last week, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the driver said the incident began when he picked up a passenger in Newark on April 22.
The “irate” man began berating the driver when he boarded, then spat on him when he exited at Elm and Washington Street in Montclair, police said.

Police said the man was dressed in black pants, a grey jacket and a black-hooded sweatshirt.
