A Celebration of Poetry and Music at Bnai Keshet
"Be surprised, be provoked, be entertained — a very special Chavurah."

Join in for a chavurah that celebrates poetry and music. On January 9 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., four of Bnai Keshet’s very own poets will be reading from their work:
- Martin Golan
- Yvette Neisser
- Daniel Brenner
- Tess Shatz
Two of the poets may have names that are unfamiliar, Yvette Neisser and Tess Shatz.
Neisser is a published poet now living in the Washington, DC, area. She is the daughter of former members Joan and Eric z”l Neisser, whom many of the BK “pioneers” may remember. Shatz, daughter of Randi Simon z”l and Paul Shatz, is a senior at Montclair High School.

Daniel Brenner and Martin Golan are likely to be familiar faces. In addition to their many other accomplishments, they are also published poets.
The program also features Sharon Freedman at the piano, playing some of her own compositions.

The evening promises to be entertaining and enlightening. And, of course, there will be refreshments.
