—The Montclair Health Department will hold a Fall 2012 Rabies clinic tonight. Please bring dogs and cats to the Edgemont Shelter House. For more information go here.
—Essex County will reopen Codey Arena Rink 2 today. The $2 million project to modernize the rink has been completed. Codey Arena is at 560 Northfield Avenue in West Orange.

—Back-to-school nights continue around the district with Montclair High School holding its back-to-school night on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
—Ahoy mateys! Celebrate “Talk Like a Pirate Day” with a visit from magician Mark Zacharia! Zacharia will astound you with his swashbuckling feats of wizardry guaranteed to boggle the mind! Daring little buccaneers are invited aboard for a one-of-a-kind sleight of hand show! Event is at 6 p.m. at the Bellevue branch of the library on Wednesday, Sept. 19. For more information go here.
