Council Meeting, Back-To-School Nights and More in the Week Ahead

A look at the week ahead and a few of the stories Patch plans to cover.

—Back to School nights continue this week. Bradford's is scheduled Tuesday at 7 p.m., Northeast's is scheduled Wednesday at 7 p.m., and Hillside's is scheduled Thursday at 7 p.m. For a full list of evening events go here.

—The Montclair Planning Board will meet on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at 205 Claremont Avenue. The board reviews and acts on site plan and subdivision application. Here's more information.

—The Montclair Public Library presents the 11th annual Latino Film Festival on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. For more information go here.

—Kip’s Castle in Montclair/Verona invites children and their families to attend two puppet shows to be held outdoors in Kip’s Castle Park. The shows are appropriate for children up to 7 years of age and admission is free. Puppet shows will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. For more information go here.
