—In remembrance of those who lost their lives in 9/11, Essex County will host "Essex County Remembers" on Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the Essex County Eagle Rock Reservation 9/11 memorial in West Orange.
—To mark the completion of the the Montclair Center Business Improvement District (BID) will host a celebration of the street on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. that will include food, music, and arts and crafts.

—The Upper Montclair Sidewalk Sale is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check it out here! Last year's event was huge, drawing loads of vendors and shoppers to the area.
—The Montclair Art Museum will hold a Free Family Day on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This special MAM Family Day at Van Vleck House and Gardens is in anticipation of the Museum's fall exhibition Georgia O'Keeffe in New Mexico: Architecture, Katsinam, and the Land. Visitors will will create artwork and explore the garden through the eyes of the artist Georgia O'Keeffe. Enjoy an exciting family outing with scavenger hunts, story time, live music, and an interactive dance performance occurring throughout the gardens. Event will take place at Van Vleck House and Gardens, 21 Van Vleck Street.
