Councilor Baskerville Encourages Residents to Attend Community Meeting
Residents and business owners are invited to come out on Nov. 25 to discuss the land use Master plan, circulation issues and traffic safety.

Fourth Ward Councilor Dr. Renee Baskerville will host a community meeting Tuesday, November 25, at 7:00 p.m. in Montclair Fire Headquarters, 1 Pine Street.
“We must examine what we, as an interdependent CalmUnity organization,” said Baskerville, ”Can do this year to make certain this harvest season, during these special days of praise, thankfulness and sacrificial giving, we go above and beyond our usual acts of love and caring to ensure that all of our neighbors feel a sense of new hope, new possibilities, of belonging to this community and a sense of well-being,”
The meeting will provide residents and business owners an opportunity to engage in discussions on several important issues such as the Master Plan Unified Land Use and Circulation Element.

A number of residents requested particular attention be paid to the Walnut Street Train Station area, as well as circulation, traffic and safety in and around Grove, Walnut and Oxford streets, among other topics.
“Everyone is encouraged to attend and engage with us as we strategize ways of making our Township the best it can be,” said Baskerville.
