COVID Shots At Events For Montclair Business Owners, Employees

The Montclair Health Department is partnering with Montclair business district leaders to offer coronavirus vaccinations.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Montclair Health Department is partnering with Montclair business district leaders to offer COVID-19 vaccinations for local business owners and employees at a series of upcoming events.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered, which only requires one dose. Clinic dates and times are as follows:

Central Business District

  • Tuesday, June 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Crane Park, Lackawanna Plaza

South End Business District

  • Wednesday, June 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Montclair Local, 309 Orange Road

Upper Montclair Business District

  • Thursday, June 17, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Bellevue Branch of the Montclair Public Library, 389 Bellevue Avenue

“Weather permitting, clinics will be held outdoors,” Montclair town officials stated. “We ask that unvaccinated individuals please wear a face covering. Vaccinations will be provided by appointment only. Please contact the Health Department at (973)509-4970, to register for an appointment.”

Persons who are interested in being placed on a waiting list to receive Moderna vaccine can also contact the health department. People should indicate that they want to receive the Moderna vaccine, and they will be contacted to schedule an appointment when an appropriate demand and supply is available, officials said.
