Credit Cards Stolen In Montclair, Used At Willowbrook Mall: PD

Montclair residents reported several recent thefts, including stolen credit cards that were later used at a nearby mall, police said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair residents have reported several recent thefts, including stolen credit cards that were later used at a nearby mall.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township:

  • March 31 (Mission Street) - The victim reported that between March 22 and March 27, a package that had been delivered was stolen from his porch. The package contained a Riddell football facemask valued at $255.
  • April 1 (Elmwood Avenue) - The victim reported that his vehicle was entered between 1 and 3 p.m. A wallet containing several credit/debit cards was stolen. The cards were later used at various vendors, including at the Willowbrook Mall.
  • April 2 (Union Street) - A resident reported that a Vilano Hybrid Road bicycle valued at $480 was stolen from their porch. The victim said the bike was secured with a wire lock.
