Deli In Montclair Burglarized, Glass Door Shattered: Police

MONTCLAIR, NJ — About $450 in cash was stolen during an after-hours burglary at a deli in Montclair, police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, police responded to Belgiovine’s Deli on Monday after getting a report that the glass front door was shattered.

Officers conducted a walkthrough of the business, finding a cash register disconnected and lying on the ground, as well as several opened drawers and cabinets, police said.

The owner of the business told officers about $450 in cash was missing, authorities said.
